Baczewski

One of the most popular restaurants among tourists restaurant where you may try over 50 kinds of various “nalyvka”(homemade liqueur) and “nastoyanka” (homemade digestive) which are made according to the Baczewski family recipes. Restaurant serves Galician cuisine, which is a great depiction of historical influence at our region (mixture of Ukrainian, Jewish, Polish and Hungarian cuisines). Due to high demand, service may be a bit slow. Prior reservation is highly recommended

Amadeus

Located next to Latin cathedral Amadeus is very atmospheric and classic restaurant, mostly for fine dining. Cuisine is European with most accent on French and Italian cuisine however Ukrainian specials are also presented in the menu. During warm period, you may enjoy dining on a small but very cozy terrace. The fact of a bit too excessive menu and sometimes stiff service does not change the fact that this is one of the best restaurants in Lviv.

Pretty High Kitchen

Situated literally high this restaurant presents new and interesting format: you will not find usual menu or waiters. You will discuss your order directly with one of the chefs who may recommend what special products they have at the moment and how they can be prepared/cooked. They do have though a list of wine and cocktails. As the background there is vinyl music playing. Svit Kavy

One of the most popular place for coffee among locals. Located next to Latin Cathedral, 100m from Rynok square vibrant hustle this very classy Vienna style cafe can offer variety of hand roasted coffee blends and tasty food. During warm time you may sit in a lovely terrace otherwise on ome of the three floors of the cafe. In comparison to other coffee places in Lviv this may be4 considered pricey. .

Virmenka

This iconic cafe opened in 1979. For years it was the place to meet for many local artists and intellectuals. We recommend to visit this atmospheric place for a cup of “kava po skhidnomu” (coffee made Turkish style, brewed on a hot sand plate) with some small desert and/or homemade liquor.
